Everyday over 3,000 people leave the Philippines in search of opportunities to give their families better lives. Chances are, for many of us in diaspora, our families migrated for the same reason. But what created these conditions, where we are forced to migrate to find 'better opportunities'? What is its impact, for us in diaspora and our motherland? And what are things we can do about it? We invite everyone to join us as we address these questions, to transform the knowledge we gain to power towards creating change.

Kabataan Alliance is a national alliance of over 50 Filipino youth and student organizations dedicated to serving our communities in the US and back home in the Philippines. Our mission is to build national unity among Filipino youth across the US to advocate for the rights and welfare of Filipinos in the US, the Philippines and around the world. We unite and empower Filipino youth across the US to engage in community organizing and advocacy to build towards a just society where people can reach their full potentials.
