Interactive discussion of how food is tied to culture, family, and love for Asian Americans. Using several short films and videos, we will explore the ‘authenticity’ of cultural foods, learning to cook, lunchbox moments, and sharing food as a language of love.
About the Facilitator
David Chih
Dr. David Chih is the founding director of the UIUC Asian American Cultural Center which opened in 2005. For over 30 years, David has focused on diversity and inclusion in higher education with particular emphasis on Asian American and international student communities.
